KundliBook (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website kundlibook.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our service, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your Google profile name. You also provide birth details (date, time, and place of birth) so we can generate your Vedic birth chart. Any life-related queries you share in the chat are treated as confidential.

Information collected automatically

We automatically collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us keep the service running and understand usage patterns in aggregate.

Chat conversations

Questions you ask the AI astrologer and the responses you receive are saved to your account so you can revisit past readings. Guest conversations are not saved.

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate and display your Vedic birth chart (Kundli).
To provide personalised astrological guidance through the AI astrologer.
To save your conversation history so you can resume readings.
To manage your account, coin balance, and authentication.
To send essential account and service notifications.
To improve the service through aggregate analytics.

We do NOT sell your personal data. We do NOT use your data to train AI models.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers (Supabase, hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security to ensure you can only access your own data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Supabase — authentication and database.
Vercel — website hosting.
Google OAuth — optional sign-in via Google.
AI model provider — to generate astrological responses. Your birth chart data is sent to generate guidance; no personal identifiers beyond birth details are shared.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access and view your personal data from your Profile page.
Update or correct your birth details at any time.
Delete individual conversation histories.
Request deletion of your entire account and all associated data.
Withdraw consent for non-essential communications.

7. Children

KundliBook is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
